Race week is underway in Valencia, and LUXE Protection Films is going racing for the first time. This weekend, LUXE joins GT driver Miguel Gaspar at the Valencia Iberian Racing Festival at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Spain, which runs September 25–27, 2026.
Miguel races with Breakell Racing in the Supercars GT4 category, driving a Porsche Cayman RS. The LUXE name runs on the car and on Miguel’s helmet all weekend: in the garage, in the paddock, on the grid and on track. This is the first motorsport activation between LUXE and Miguel. It’s also the first time the LUXE brand has appeared in a European GT field.
A driver partnership, started the right way
Our partnership is with Miguel directly. He has moved up the ladder the traditional way, from karting through single-seaters and into GT racing. Today he races in a category where preparation, consistency and small margins decide the result. That mindset fits how we build and support our film.
We chose to start with one race weekend on purpose. We didn’t announce a season and hope it worked out. Valencia gives both sides a real paddock to work in, a real schedule to deliver against, and a clear read on how the relationship works before anything bigger is discussed.
The venue matters too. Circuit Ricardo Tormo is one of Spain’s best-known circuits. Its compact, stadium-style layout keeps most of the lap in view of the grandstands, which is a strong setting for a brand’s first appearance in European motorsport.
“We are excited to see this partnership come to life with Miguel in Valencia,” said Ravi Shukla, Founder & CEO of LUXE Protection Films. “Motorsport demands precision, consistency and performance, the same principles that guide how we build and support LUXE. Having the brand represented on the car and helmet gives us a credible entry point to build the relationship properly, engage the European automotive and motorsport community, and explore how LUXE protection technology may become part of Miguel’s racing program in the future.”
Why motorsport fits a protection-film brand
Paint protection film is a precision product. A good PPF install depends on clean edges, tight tolerances, careful prep and an installer who doesn’t cut corners. That discipline is close to what goes on in a race garage, where every panel, fastener and surface is checked before the car goes out.
Motorsport is also one of the toughest environments a painted surface can face. Stone chips, rubber pickup, debris and heat are part of every session. That’s why we see a natural long-term fit between racing and automotive protection film. It’s also why we’re approaching any technical role carefully and not claiming one on day one. At Valencia, LUXE is on the car as a brand partner. Any future product role will be earned under proper racing conditions.
There’s a presentation side as well. A race car is a rolling showcase: finish, graphics and detail are judged by thousands of people from the grandstand and on camera. The professional installers and dealers we work with deliver that same result for their customers every day, on everything from daily drivers to collector cars. Motorsport gives us a platform that speaks to both audiences.
Finally, this is about the culture. LUXE is built for the professional side of the automotive world: installers, detailers, dealers and enthusiasts who care how a car looks and how long it lasts. Racing is where much of that culture starts. Being in the paddock with a driver who shares those standards is the right way for LUXE to take part.
The Valencia weekend
The weekend opens on Friday, September 25 with GT4 testing, followed by qualifying and racing on Saturday and Sunday. The LUXE team is on site in Valencia to work with Miguel and see his race program firsthand. We’ll update this page once official results are published.
What comes after Valencia
Valencia is the first step, not the whole plan. This first activation lets LUXE and Miguel judge together what a longer relationship could look like, including:
- Content: motorsport photography and video that show the LUXE brand in a real race setting.
- Future race events: further race weekends and, potentially, a program for the 2027 season.
- Technical integration: whether and how LUXE protection products could become part of Miguel’s racing program, evaluated under the right conditions.
Any program beyond Valencia will be developed separately, by mutual agreement. We’ll share more when there’s something concrete to share.
